Doug Tanner is a 27-year veteran of the DocLink Document Management Suite, available for related project work. Doug is uniquely qualified in ERP and DocLink integrations, having been a driving force in the functionality of the DocLink suite of Document Management and Workflow solutions during his tenure at Altec, the publishers of the product. Earning his Microsoft MCSE certification in 2000, He's helped configure, install, upgrade, and enhance the functionality for thousands of DocLink customers worldwide. If it can happen in DocLink, Doug can make it happen.
His skills extend beyond DocLink as he is knowledgeable in several ERP systems, understands business processes and document flow. Doug is well-versed in database interaction, adept at reading and writing data connectors for various data containers. His "daily driver" is MSSQL, but he is also comfortable with Providex, MySQL, Hana, Oracle, and others. Additionally, Doug has successfully deployed servers and project-related code in GCP, AWS, and Azure environments.
In the 80s & 90s, Doug was active in the U.S. Marine Corps working on aircraft support equipment for AV-8B Harriers and F4 Phantoms around the globe.
After nearly 8 years of service, he learned that Radio production sparked his interest. He picked a new name and a new attitude and that gave him the opportunity to live in Honolulu, Phoenix, Cincinnati, and Detroit.
Doug is married to his wife of 8 years, Elena, also a solid software consultant. They and their German Shepard Dog Lily currently live next to a howler monkey troupe high in a seaside village, Tinamastes, Costa Rica.
